In fact, I graduated from Hesperia Unified School District, and I worked with the District for 12 years, and worked 3 years for the Park and Recreation District. I know where the parks are, and some of the programs they offer. Both my children have been born and raised in the High Desert. My son has played youth football in Hesperia, and Phelan, and my younger one is doing class through the Park and Recreation in Hesperia, and both have done Tae Kwon Do at an awesome studio in Victorville. I have been part of the High Desert through growing up here, my children growing up here, and through working for the school, and Park Districts. The High Desert has grown, since I was a child, we have a few more things for the children to do from classes through the Parks, to a day at the Lakes, and sports or dance activities. You can spend the day shopping at the Mall of Victor Valley or have dinner on restaurant row off of Amargosa Rd. in one of the many restaurants followed by watching a movie at one of 5 Movie theater locations. Clearly, I enjoy serving our community, helping others whether it was helping by watching their children during A.S.A.P or feeding the children of our community breakfast and lunch at the school district.
